5 things to do when you're single and alone during Valentines

A lot of corny people call valentines day SAD or Single Awareness Day. Desperate people can make acronyms with anything, just ask the senatorial slate of some candidates today. There are a lot of people who go all emo on Feb. 14 and this is just sad. So here are 5 things to get your mind of this day or to do in any boring day.

1. Read the Bible-

83% of the Filipino people who believe in Christianity don't read the bible. It is somewhere in the top shelf in a forgotten place. What better day is it than to get and read it than valentines day? It will distract you from your emo self with the good word.

Read any book in the Bible. It is not boring! Trust me! It may seem dull when we were young but that was a few years ago when cartoons was an afternoon routine. The Bible has full of stories with interesting facts. Did you know that there were no cats in the Bible? That Isaac was a young man when Abraham almost offered him? There are more interesting stuff if you read them yourself.

2. Eat something exotic.

All of the good restos are taken in the v-day. So go to a weird place where no one eats. There are Indians cuisines all around the metro. You just have to look for it. If you are in a small budget you can always go to isaw areas in UP. (I know that you haven't gone there yet.)

Be warned here. Pick your battles. Don't eat something that you know will ruin your stomach. You don't want to poop all day on February 15.

3. Watch the LOTR trilogy.

There are only a few movies that you can watch over and over again and will still be good. LOTR is one of these movies. It has all of the elements a good movie. Action, drama, comedy and CGI. You won't remember that it is valentines day when watching this movie because you will only remember that "You shall not pass!"

If you have a life and prefer to sleep early you can always watch one of the greatest movie trilogy ever Back to the Future! It has all of the 4 elements. Even if the CGI is just a 3d shark. (at this point I have lost all of the coherence with what I am saying because I am distracted by a call.)

4. Shoot a gun.

I have no idea why I placed this in this post. I am so lost right now because I am distracted. Why shoot a gun? I don't know. To release stress i guess. To shout while firing? Where do you do this? er.... uh... I have not thought this through before writing this and this is permanent typing thing cannot be erased....

OH OH OH!!! LASER TAG! go laser tagging! nerd and emo safe!

5. Write a blog.

If you are as bored as me and have something useless to say write a blog. Don't post is on twitter and facebook. Have some decency to write it in a paragraph(S).

Post pictures if you are not in the mood for typing. Don't write all of your emo crap because no one wants to know those stuff. Especially a valentines day post because no one is going to read it.
